St. Roch

As usual, St. Roch is identified by the exposed leg and the dog. Usually the dog brings a loaf of bread; here, it is hard to tell what that thing is between the dog and Roch's foot. (Could it be the jar that is usually brought by an angel?)

The keys and shell on the saint's cape memorialize pilgrimages to Rome and Compostela, and it looks as if the broken hands once held a pilgrim's staff. But the saint is dressed in a clergyman's cape and cassock, not the usual pilgrim's wear.
